The Easter’s Home leadership team is looking for several individuals to each take on a meaningful body of work related to the project over the next year. The work will be a combination of ideation and execution; each individual will have specific deliverables to own and deadlines to meet. This work is under the governance of the board of Caldwell Housing, Inc., the non-profit we have established for this purpose. There are three specific areas where we currently need help:

Easter’s Home communications. Provide regular updates to the Caldwell congregation and external parties; partner with John Cleghorn to include in regular communication forums. Develop and regularly update online content for various digital properties. Caldwell Housing Board member lead: Riley Kilpatrick.

Stakeholder identification and engagement plan. Identify critical stakeholders in the Elizabeth community; develop engagement and communication plan; identify opportunities for partnerships. Stakeholders include the Elizabeth Community Association, Elizabeth Traditional Elementary School leadership, Novant, and neighboring businesses. Caldwell Housing Board member lead: Elli Dai

Caldwell resident engagement opportunities. Partner with Roof Above to determine approach for ongoing or one-time programs hosted by Caldwell, to supplement Roof Above’s supportive services and tenant programs. Develop sustainable model for coordination and support (e.g., ongoing Caldwell lead or team). Includes coordination with Congregational Prep team on any educational prerequisites for volunteer engagements. Caldwell Housing Board member lead: Lisa Thompson

Time Commitment Members of the team may need to spend several hours a week on Easter’s Home, either through individual work or group meetings. While the time needed will vary from week to week, we expect it to be meaningful and are looking for individuals who can make that commitment. We are asking for core team members to be a part of this work at a minimum until our residents move into Easter’s Home in early 2025.
