The Cycle of Psalms

The Book of the Psalms holds some of the richest language in scripture. It provides a touchstone for almost every human emotion, which is why John Calvin called it “the anatomy of the soul.”

In this four-week series, we will explore the Psalms together and how they speak to our lives today. In particular, we will consider the claim by Columbia Seminary Professor Walter Brueggemann that the Psalms speak to every aspect of our walk with God, from orientation to disorientation back to orientation.

Come and participate in this open exploration of the book that was the Bible for Jesus Christ and can be such a powerful tool for prayer for us in the 21st Century.
